The overall purpose of this job is to plan and control all parts sourced from overseas parts vendors, and ensure that sufficient inventory is available for Dealer purchases.

Planning and control of these parts requires timely and accurate ordering and expediting techniques. The objective is to maintain at least a 96% dealer order fill rate, while maintaining an optimum inventory investment. The end result is increased sales and profits for KMA and its dealers.

1. Plan and control import parts inventory to ensure timely delivery of parts to dealers.
2. Expedite and control import part backorders to ensure that customer orders are filled promptly.
3. Prepare Forecast spreadsheet of "high demand" parts to ensure timely delivery of such parts from supplier.
4. Continuously monitor and develop special reports to aid inventory-planning responsibilities and improving fill rates.
5. Reconcile purchase order files with supplier.

• Proficiency in Word, Excel for Windows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Four years purchasing experience or three years auto parts computerized inventory management experience required.
• College Degree or equivalent experience.
